Hernia repair is a very common operation. Special belts can be used to support the hernia but surgery is the best option. If neglected a hernia will usually get worse and increase in size. Occasionally it can lead to complications, strangulation of the intestine. Emergency treatment is then required.
Endoscopy allows your surgeon to examine the Gastro Intestinal tract that extends from the mouth through to the anus. Gastroscopy and
colonoscopy are effective and minimally invasive methods of diagnosing and treating disorder of the upper and lower gastro interinal tract.
Colectomy is a surgical procedure to remove all or part of your colon. Your colon, also called your large intestine, is a long tubelike organ at the end of your digestive tract. Colectomy may be necessary to treat or prevent diseases and conditions that affect your colon.
Endocrine surgery refers to operations on one or more of the endocrine glands, otherwise know as thyroid or parathyroid glands. These glands secrete hormones into the bloodstream, and have an important influence over the functions of almost all cells in the body.
Every woman is different. Some women develop Breast Lumps more easily than others. You may have found in your breast a lump. It is not known what type of lump you have until it is tested. This test can be done in various ways.
